Kemono Friends
Japari Park is an enormous integrated zoo built somewhere in this world. A mysterious substance found there, called "Sand Star," causes the animals to turn into humanoid beings called "Animal Girls"! These new creatures spend every day peacefully with the zoo's visitors... but after some time, a lost child turns up in the park. The child's attempt to find the way home turns into a great adventure with the Animal Girls!

Kemono Friends (Season 1) is a genuinely well written and executed anime that takes the strengths and weaknesses of animals and makes them the heros of the story to help a lost girl (named Kaban by Serval, a Serval Feline) discover what species she is.
I rate Kemono Friends (Season 1) a 10/10, it's genuinely beautiful what a small budget could make.
As for season 2... 2/10, it's disgusting, almost insulting how the original (Tatsuki) and new the director (Ryuichi Kimura) were treated by Kadokawa and Tokyo TV.
A real shame such a great franchise was basically killed of by corporate greed...
