Nur Kasih follows two brothers with opposite lifestyles. Aidil is a disciplined Sharia law student at Al-Azhar University who embraces traditional values. His younger brother Adam has broken away from his religious roots, choosing a secular lifestyle in Australia to work as an architect.

When their father falls critically ill, both brothers return to their rural hometown, where an unexpected family decision changes everything. Hoping to guide his rebellious son, Ustaz Hassan arranges a marriage between Adam and Nur Amina, a brilliant local student struggling to afford university. This sudden arrangement catches everyone off guard, blinding the father to the fact that Nur Amina is actually the woman Aidil has secretly loved for years.
