Deserts, Coast, Islands. While animals survive in the desert despite the extreme heat and lack of water, animals on different islands compete with each other to survive.
In the desert, the lack of water and the extreme heat are just as deadly as predators. We see spiders using the dunes as an escape route, and starving hyenas doing everything they can to survive!
On the coast, the tides determine the battle between predators and their prey. Whales use the currents to hunt sea lions on the beach, and newborn baby turtles are threatened by gulls and octopuses!
We'll take you to the Galapagos Islands, where marine iguanas take extreme measures in their battle against hawks, and to Hawaii, where you'll witness the impressive annual battle between albatrosses and tiger sharks!
