Angels know everything

The first episode of the documentary series "The Miracle Worker" tells the story of the birth of a girl, Matrona Dmitrievna Nikonova. She was born into a poor peasant family, her mother was going to give the newborn to an orphanage. But the day before she had a dream: a white bird with a baby face and hollows instead of eyes lands on her hand. The girl was born without eyes. As a child, Matrona played not with dolls, but with icons, on Wednesdays and Fridays (the days of Orthodox fasting) she did not drink milk, but for the time being no one paid attention to this. And then an incredible event happened that completely turned her whole life upside down. One day, when Matrona was alone at home, an old man came to the girl, asked for water and hit Matrona with a ladle with all his might. It was Saint Nicholas, who gave Matrona a pectoral cross that night.
