Sitcom about a brother and sister and their two friends who all grew up together. The story is set in the present (1991), with flashbacks to 1977 and a look into the characters' lives in the future (2016).
The Knights of the Kitchen Table pilot was recorded in late 1990 but never aired. In a Dec. 13, 1995 online Q&A hosted by People magazine, actor Drew Carey said the outdoor pool table used in The Drew Carey Show was an idea left over from Knights of the Kitchen Table.
