Though the very last scene does prove to be quite impactful, I did struggle to engage with this rather sterile depiction of a conversation on a wide range of important issues between "Stefania" (Stefania Bastianello) and her paralysed husband of ten years "Cesare" (Cesare Scoccimarro). He is plumbed into what looks like a ventilator and cannot speak, but they still appear to be able to communicate by way of a perspex screen with symbols and letters stuck onto it. She points and draws her conclusions but I coudn't quite see how he was communicating in return. Moreover, after a few minutes of watching this it appeared that she was rather lecturing him on her need to take a break from the constant cycle of care that she is obviously offering him. It's segmented through a variety of topics that she wishes to discuss, including sex (at sea) - which does bring a glimmer of a smile from the man, but the rest of this is a bizarrely one-sided piece of cinema that perhaps tests the marital vow of "in sickness and in health"?
