Harindra Pathak is the protagonist who goes on to realize that his popularity & importance stay valid & relevant only till he is onstage. Let down by circumstances & his own blood, Harindra eventually retires to a life of complete obscurity and alienation. It is a remake of 2016 Marathi film of the same name starring Nana Patekar, which is based on a Marathi play by Kusumagraj (V. V. Shirwadkar).
