After years of caring exclusively for the needs of her husband and children, Agnes, a devoted housewife living in a small town near New York, has found something she really enjoys doing: solving puzzles.

Not a bad wistful movie, but a somewhat familiar one. At the center is the neglected, underappreachited housewife who only needs a nudge to wake up and step into the world. The movie is all about that awakening; and the ending is thankfully true to the main character.
The story is told through the eyes of those she serves, which is everyone but herself. We see how they are affected by her changing self perception, and what happens when she slowly takes back control of her life.
