Two bored friends are out messing about with their dog and their ball when a spaceship lands nearby and it’s owner disembarks. Looking like something straight from Tahiti by way of dental heaven, it has their football and after a few demonstrations of skill it passes it to one of the lads. He reciprocates with some flair of his own and passes it back, but before our visitor can show off some more their dog pinches the ball. Bad move! In the best traditions of my ball my game the alien resorts to, let’s just call it overkill. Who is going to play now? Though I can’t say I’m too sure what the point of this story is, I liked the simplicity of the animation and the elements of mischief that run through it and it’s certainly worth seven minutes in case you can take more of a moral from it than I.
