Reality, as we know it, is not the same anymore but has split in two: a factual, physical reality and synthetic, virtual reality. All across the network society, people have started to flock to online worlds for very different reasons. 'INSIDE THE METAVERSE' introduces a patch-work of characters from all walks of life and nationalities for whom virtual worlds have become an important part of their lives.
