Gay Nazis, FBI informants, mysterious aliens – and Santa in the middle. When filmmaker Stephan Heiniger befriends a mysterious, stranded hitchhiker posing as Santa Claus in Vienna, he is drawn into a web of outrageous stories. Wavering between skepticism and fascination, Stephan sets out to uncover the truth behind the myth—while celebrating Santa’s tales in a magical world made of cardboard. As he tries both to preserve and dismantle the facade, an unexpected encounter ultimately confronts him with his own story.
