Sleep and then Behold

Carrying a slow-moving rhythm like the kinetic sculpture appearing on screen, a miniature mountain drifting through the night, the film composes an intangible movement of fragments of life and art. This work was made for the 20th anniversary of Nhà Sàn, in a period when Nhà Sàn Collective were returning to their home. An atmosphere, a sense of space, aesthetics, and the distinctive portrait of an intergenerational art community in Hanoi. A tribute to the home of a couple, Mrs. Lương and Mr. Mạnh Đức, Nhà Sàn's birthplace.
