Helden van de Galaxy

A magical realist youth documentary series that follows children from all over the world living aboard the cruise ship MS Galaxy, which has been temporarily converted into a reception center for asylum seekers. Surrounded by the surreal contrast of a luxurious cruise ship that has become a sanctuary, Abdullatif, Nour, Laila, and Basel try to find their way in an uncertain future while searching for connection and a sense of home. Amidst the uncertainty of displacement and the challenges of integration, they find solace in the stories and memories they carry with them from their home countries. Stories that keep their sense of wonder and hope alive.
