Roca Partida is a contemplative portrait of a coastal community in Veracruz marked by institutional abandonment. Through the voices of its inhabitants, including a former lighthouse keeper, the documentary reconstructs the memory of a place that is vanishing in front of the sea. The lighthouse, in ruins, symbolizes all that the government has stopped looking at. In its final section, a warning about the growing presence of organized crime emerges. A territory that resists, but also fears.
