How To Feed The Planet

From the coasts of Southern Italy to the Congo River basin, by way of Ukraine and Argentina: a journey through space and time to discover how to answer one of the most important questions facing us in this era. How will we feed the Planet, with a growing population projected to reach nearly 10 billion people, and natural resources already under stress from human activity? Through food systems, diets, lobbies, and farming communities, the documentary follows a global journalistic investigation and confronts us with a choice we cannot escape. Can we continue to consume an excessive amount of resources, or must we recognize what has failed in the system built over recent decades and roll up our sleeves to change course?
