Aik Akhri Dafa

When Saniya, a young artist who fled her controlling home to build a life on her own terms, finally receives acceptance to a prestigious foreign art school, she plans one last conversation with her estranged mother before leaving everything behind. But when her mother arrives unannounced with food and carefully chosen words, what begins as a long-overdue confrontation slowly unravels into something far more devastating -- a confession that makes leaving feel like abandonment, and staying feel like disappearing. Set over the course of a single evening in a small apartment, Aik Akhri Dafa is a film about the love that shapes us, the silence that protects us, and the impossible moment when we realise those two things have always been the same person.
