Amateur is a documentary about amateur football. A group of friends from the neighborhood of Jose Mármol, Buenos Aires, Argentina play together in a football team. In their personal lives, each one is dedicated to something different. None of them can make a living from football, but they share a common love for this sport. This documentary follows the journey of this team during a tournament. This group of friends finally shows that football is not just another sport, but is the passion that lives inside them.
