Duwid Tuminzik - is Makunaima Duwid?

Is Makunaima Duwid? A question, a process, a film, and a living memory of the Wapichana people. The film proposes a journey into traditional Wapichana narratives from the territory of Serra da Lua, in Roraima. The script invites the audience to reflect on the famous character Macunaíma, created by Mário de Andrade — who will mark its 100th anniversary in 2028 — and its connections to its Indigenous roots, especially those of the Wapichana people.
