Over the past few years, I've collected hundreds of anonymous home movies. Many are fascinating, but the ones spliced in this work are not. Every time I'd inspect these films in the editor and come across those boring and banal tourist shots of cities, their buildings and monuments, I'd cut them away and set them aside. I tried to erase every trace of them so I could paint undisturbed, but every now and then, remnants emerge. "FULL of COLOR" is a lively and vibrant work, definitely less blue than my first hand-painted filmwork, "GIRLAND '81".
