On one fateful night, a seemingly normal detective stakeout will send John's world spiraling.
It's no "Dude, Where's My Phone?", but it's alright.
To see Manaaki Jackson mature from a comedic performance seen in "Dude, Where's my Phone?" to such a sophisticated and gut wrenching performance displayed in "Your Mind is on Vacation", was truly on par with seeing the sophistication of Robin Williams. Truly one of the most nuanced and emotional performances in recent years. However, it's often the case that Toby Pawson's supporting role steals the show. The blend of humanity that juxtaposes the harsh nature of Manaaki's character, was amazing to see. With one of the greatest screenplays I have bared witness to along with the top-notch cinematography, editing, and overall artistic and narrative direction combined with the aforementioned awe-inspiring performances across the board, create one of if not the greatest film of the 21st century and possibly the history film-making.
