The Social Parasite

Three entirely distinct stories: a man who, since adolescence, has been forced to obey only one man and condemned to serve as a drug mule for eternity; a woman who, after undergoing surgery, begins to feel that she is no longer the same person, haunted by the absence of a part of herself; and, finally, a high school girl who makes a living running small scams on California’s wealthy, infiltrating the social lives of the elite like an abyssal parasite.
