A repressed homosexual recounts the time he fell in love with his friend while bonding over a campy noir TV show and the horrific event that stemmed from it.
This film touches on the tragic complications of coming out of the closet and societal pressures of presenting themselves in a certain way. This beautifully parallels 'I Saw The TV Glow' in trying to discover and understand one's sexuality, love, and comfortability with being themselves. I was completely drawn into the dynamic of this relationship, navigating friendship and romantic feelings from both sides, but for many reasons, never growing into the pure love it was at its roots.
