There are days when it is better not to get out of bed. This is what our character thinks, an ordinary man who, like every morning, gets ready to go to work, but today is not going to be a normal day...

Brits who remember the early claymation work of Tony Hart might enjoy this story. It all starts when his alarm clock goes off, then his phone rings - all whilst his wife snores merrily away. He gets up - that's his first mistake. Then he attempts to get to work just in time to watch his car get towed. Can this day get it any worse? Well it sure can as it ends up developing like something from a Laurel and Hardy movie. I liked the expressive nature of the animation here - the look on his face at times, coupled with some really cleverly crafted stop-motion that moves along rapidly - just look at the bright red phone as it rings or his body as it gets thwacked on the head and then bounces down a flight of stairs (told you things didn't pan out so well for the fella) and we are presented with a vigorous and lively version of a man who ought just to have stayed under the duvet. Good fun.
