Season 1

Starting tonight is Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant. Shaan Kant is a scientist. He is poised to create something useful to mankind. His mother and sisters-in-law attend a Working Women’s Day function when a fire breaks out due to short circuit and Shaan’s ‘creation’ reaches there!

Shaan feels proud of inventing a super robot, Rajni. Rajni rescues Shaan's mother, Surili from a fire accident that breaks out during the women's working day celebration at a hotel. Surili is eager to meet Rajni and is grateful to her for saving her life.

Shaan confidently takes Rajni for the presentation but the Randomly Accessible Jobs Network Interface or RAJNI doesn't follow his commands and ruins it all. The deal falls through and a disheartened Shaan discards Rajni as 'garbage'. Meanwhile, Shaan's mother is dreaming about an 'ideal Bengali girl' as her youngest daughter-in-law!

Shaan is upset with Rajni for ruining his project. Later, she decides to stay away from him. Surili makes Shaan realise that Rajni had rescued her from the fire! Shaan manages to pacify Rajni. Surili is eager to get Shaan married, but he is not interested.

Shaan is in financial trouble after Matthew rejects his project. He tries to purchase a motherboard for Rajni (Super Robot). On his insistence, Surili agrees to help him on the condition that he marries a girl of her choice. Shaan provokes Amrish to choose a Punjabi girl for him.

Shaan teaches Rajni to wear a sari. He asks her to interact with the women in the market. Surili interviews a few Bengali girls for Shaan's marriage. She chooses a girl, Debolina for Shaan, whereas Amrish selects a Punjabi girl, Ruby. Later, Surili conducts a test for Debolina and Ruby.

Shaan pacifies his boss, Matthew and gets his permission to restart his project on the robot. Debolina and Ruby decline the marriage proposal as they mistake Rajni to be Shaan's wife. Shaan's family is shocked to hear about it. He tries to clear their misunderstanding about Rajni.

Shaan clears Surili's misconception about his relationship with Rajni. Maggi and Sharmila suspect him. Surili is keen on getting Shaan married to an ideal girl. Shaan's family enters his laboratory to know his secret and suffer an electric shock. Shaan manages to hide Rajni from them.

Surili is unaware that Rajni is Shaan's invention! She believes that Rajni is his wife and is furious at him for marrying her. Amrish, however, likes Rajni and is affectionate towards her.

Rajni is upset with Maggi and Sharmila for ignoring the household chores. She prepares delicious meals for Shaan's family. Amrish is impressed with Rajni and insists that Shaan think seriously about his relationship with her. He persuades Surili to accept Rajni as their daughter-in-law.

Dev does not want to get Shaan and Rajni married. He succeeds in misguiding Shaan's family about Rajni. Surili becomes dejected with Rajni's behaviour and refuses to accept her as her daughter-in-law. On the other hand, Shaan is eager to marry Rajni and wants to accomplish his goal.

Surili does not want Shaan to marry Rajni and suspects her. Maggi and Sharmila also support Surili. Dev disguises as Rajni's step-mother and meets Shaan's family and tries to get Rajni and Shaan married. However, he fails in his attempt and his secret is exposed.

Dev and Shaan hire a lady to act as Rajni's step-mother and meet the family. Surili is not happy about Shaan's marriage with Rajni. She tests her culinary skills and asks her to prepare a variety of dishes. Will Rajni pass the test?

Surili is shocked that Rajni has cooked a storm! While Amrish is keen to accept Rajni as his daughter-in-law, Surili is against it. Amrish tries to persuade her, but she wants to wait for her father's consent before deciding.

Babbal convinces Surili to not get Shaan married to Rajni. However, Amrish does not agree and decides to go ahead with their wedding. Under Shaan's guidance, Dev installs the romantic features in Rajni's robotic system and guides her about romance. Later, Rajni executes the romantic commands.

Dev and Shaan are elated on learning that Rajni can be romantic too. Balwant is fascinated by Rajni's beauty. Amrish and his family celebrate Shaan and Rajni's engagement, but Surili is not happy about it. Eventually, Shaan and Rajni perform the engagement rituals.

Balwant and Maggi distract Shaan and Rajni during the engagement rituals and misplace the engagement ring. On Shaan's command, Rajni finds the ring! Bubbles is scared of Rajni, while Balwant wants to win Rajni's love.

Amrish is sad as he thinks that Surili is in love with someone. Rajni activates her systems and behaves romantically. Balwant is eager to win her love and tries to propose to her. Surili spies on them and intends to conspire against Rajni.

Amrish suspects that Surili loves someone. Surili intends to tarnish Rajni's reputation. She tries to misguide Amrish about Rajni's affair with Balwant, but fails. Balwant wants to elope with Rajni and expresses his feelings to her.

Shaan suspects Balwant's motive against Rajni and keeps an eye on him. Elsewhere, Surili hires a cameraman to spy on Rajni during the function. Shaan instructs Rajni not to dance during the function. The Kants celebrate Shaan and Rajni's sangeet ceremony. Amrish performs at the function.

Amrish trusts Rajni and bets Surili that Rajni will never elope with Balwant. Shaan and his family perform during the sangeet ceremony. Misguided by Balwant, Rajni opens the locker and takes the ornaments. She regales the audience by her performance at the function.

Surili shows Rajni's video to the family! Amrish and Shaan feel proud of Rajni. They hate Balwant for misleading Rajni. Shaan's family is also happy to know that Rajni had rescued Surili from the fire accident!

Shaan reactivates Rajni's robotic system and instucts her to behave normally with human beings. Under Shaan's guidance, Rajni succeeds in impressing Amrish. The Kants celebrate Rajni's mehendi ceremony. Surili reluctantly performs the mehendi rituals.

Rajni attempts to slap Surili, but Shaan handles the situation! The family celebrates Rajni-Shaan's haldi ceremony. Later, Shaan instructs Rajni to activate auto clean to clear the haldi. Just then, Bubbles walks in on them.

At the mehendi ceremony, Maggi attempts to offer spiked milk to Rajni. By mistake, Surili has it and gets drunk. Later, she slaps Gyaan and creates a nuisance. Shaan gets worried when Surili climbs on the terrace railing!

Rajni rescues an intoxicated Surili from falling off the terrace. Shaan panics after Rajni's system deteriorates. Surili gifts a fish to Rajni while performing the Bengali rituals for her but is annoyed when she cooks the same fish. Shaan is shocked about Matthew's visit to his house.

Matthew is furious to learn that Shaan is getting married to a robot. Shaan lies to him saying that he is marrying Rajni, a girl. He also assures him of building a male robot and seeks Dev's help for it. Rajni gives electric shocks to Dev to placate him.

Amrish wants Shaan and Rajni married. But Shaan decides to call off his marriage. He tries to tell Amrish and Surili that Rajni is a robot. Balwant kidnaps Rajni and attempts to marry her. However, Rajni ruins his plan. She fights Balwant's goons and rescues Shaan from them.

Amrish feels proud of Rajni's humility. Shaan and Rajni perform during their wedding ceremony. The invitees and Shaan's family are astonished when Rajni and Shaan perform the varmala ritual in a supernatural style. Rajni also gives an electric shock to Rajnikant who is the chief guest of the function.

Shaan is worried about Rajni's condition. He asks her to execute his commands during the marriage ceremony. Bubbles tries to stop their marriage. She is smitten by Karanvir Bohra, who's attending the wedding. Karanvir is shocked to learn that Rajni is a robot!

Amrish and Surili perform Rajni's kanyadaan. Later, a girl named Priya arrives at the ceremony and accuses Shaan of having an affair with her! However, Rajni succeeds in proving Priya wrong.

Shaan's family insists on Rajni to cry at the end of the wedding ceremony. Rajni cries in Rajasthani style. During the grihapravesh ceremony, Rajni kicks up a storm!

Amrish asks Rajni to distribute few clothes and money to the poor. Rajni mistakes Shaan's sister, Shogata to be a poor girl and insists that she accept the money and clothes. Shogata complains about Rajni, and plans with Surili to teach Rajni a lesson.
