Season 1

Indira, the daughter of Kutumbh and Inder Sharma, asks her nephew, Ishaan, and sister, Mandira, to complete their morning chores. She even scolds her brother, Munna, and his wife, Sunaina of being irresponsible. Kutumbh gives Indira the municipal corporation’s notice regarding an overdue water connection bill, but Indira snaps at her. Indira's ruthlessness stems from the hatred she feels for her father. Later, an estate agent, Radhe, brings tenants, whom Indira rejects for a petty reason.

Radhe takes Rishi, a man who is looking for a place to rent, to Indira’s house. They encounter Munna, who charges a high rent for the room, which makes Rishi leave. Moreover, Kutumbh and Sunaina also remain skeptical of him. Radhe informs the incident to Indira and she leaves the office to meet him. On the way, she encounters him in an auto-rickshaw, but immediately has a fallout. Later, she gets off the vehicle and leaves.

Indira asks Munna to deposit the cheque for the water bill. Later at her office, she meets a new recruit, Manoj, who hits on her. She takes him to her boss, Gurpreet. Meanwhile, Rishi arrives at Indira’s house. He comes across Mandira and Sunaina, both of whom refuse to clean his room, so he gets to work himself. Later, he opens a box and gets startled to find a rat inside. He then throws his shoe at it, to shoo it away.

Rishi gives the security deposit to Indira. She then explains to him the rules of her house and asks him to fill up a form. Meanwhile, Munna argues with her for letting him stay, and leaves the house himself. Later in the market, Indira sees Mandira with an unknown boy. Back at home, she comes across Rishi again. He tells her that he is waiting for his pizza to arrive and invites Ishaan to join him. Meanwhile, Munna visits Inder.

Inder refuses to give money to Munna, while his second wife, Jhumpa, insults him. The next morning, Rishi gives Indira an old box as a birthday gift. Later at her office, Indira receives flowers that her brother, Vidhit, sent her. The same evening, Munna comes home with a lot of money and gifts for everyone, and informs them that he has started a new business. However, Inder and Jhumpa arrive with the police, leaving everyone shocked.

Inder scolds Munna for misbehaving with Jhumpa. The police arrest him while, Kutumbh falls sick. Jhumpa has a fall out with Indira and she leaves. Later, Rishi speaks to Inder about the incident, but Indira intervenes. She reveals her relation with Inder to him and asks him to stay away from her personal problems. Later, she visits Munna to post his bail. However, she decides against it because of what he said to her.

Munna comes back home and reveals that Rishi gave his bail. However, Indira gets angry and asks Rishi to leave. Munna comes in support of him, but himself leaves. Meanwhile, Rishi puts forth such a condition that makes it difficult for Indira to evict him. The next morning, Ishaan refuses to go to school with her. Just then, Munna arrives and offers to take him. Later, Indira, fed up with Rishi’s antics, calls up Radhe for a new tenant.

Mandira and her boyfriend, Ashish, shoplift and later get caught. Inder pays their due and asks Kutumbh to not speak of it to Indira. Meanwhile, Jhumpa sees him interacting with her and confronts him. However, he tells her something interesting that silences her. Meanwhile, Indira’s boss, Gurpreet, asks her and Manoj to find an Uzbek translator for their visiting delegates. Later, Manoj pays a visit to Indira house, little to everyone's expectation, looking for Rishi.

Manoj asks Rishi to be his Uzbek translator, but he refuses because Indira is also involved in the project. The next day, Ishaan asks Munna to take him to school, but Rishi offers to take him instead. On the way, he convinces Ishaan to apologise to Indira. Ishaan and Indira reconcile, but she scolds Rishi for aggravating her problems. Later, he comes to her office and starts talking to the delegates. Will Indira accept his help or refuse it?

Elsewhere, Munna takes his friend Montu’s money and gives it to Kutumbh and Sunaina. Later, he sees Montu looking for him and escapes. Ishaan comes to Montu in search of Munna. She tells her that he has the right to visit her house and that she is no one to stop him. She also belittles Indira’s contribution to the family, after which Indira takes a drastic step.

Vanraj’s impostor’s identity is confirmed on the internet, but Zaara remains suspicious. Zaara takes Ishaan’s laptop to Malik and notices an icon blink, but Malik dismisses it. Malik scolds Zaara for her growing closeness with Rishi. Later, upon Rishi’s insistence, Zaara closes her eyes to see whom she loves, and anxiously runs back to Malik to tell him that she is ready to move forward in their marital life. Zaara pushes Malik away when he tries to embrace her. Zaara receives a call and is threatened by an anonymous person. Later, Zaara finds out about a terror plot on ‘Dussera’, a Hindu festival, when she borrows Ishaan’s laptop. While Radhe and Inder fail to land a role in ‘Ramleela’, Indu gets the part of ‘Hanuman’, a Hindu God. Rishi persuades Zaara to reveal who she saw with her eyes closed, but she slaps him. Elsewhere, terrorists insert explosives inside a ‘Gada’, a mace.

Munna narrates the script he has written for ‘Ramleela’ to Vanraj’s impostor. Meanwhile, Zaara gets an anonymous call for a rendezvous. Although Zaara infers it is a trap, she decides to go. Later, Rishi finds Zaara on the street and continuously insists on giving her a lift. Amidst this, Rishi gets shot, while Shweta encounters a bad omen.

Zaara informs Rishi about the impending terror attacks and asks him to promise to keep it a secret, to which he agrees. Malik calls Meher to complain about Zaara. Later, Zaara interrogates the terrorist that Rudra captured, and learns that the mastermind of the terror plot goes by the code name of Commander Sarfarosh. Elsewhere, Commander Sarfarosh is seen confronting one of his men for failing to kill Zaara.

Malik narrates how he orchestrated his entry into Sharma Niwas to retrieve the chip from Indu, and vows that he will make his mission successful no matter the cost. Later, a man switches Indu’s ‘Gada’ with another one, in which Zaara suspects that there is a bomb. Zaara tells everyone to stop the ‘Ramleela’, much to everyone’s displeasure. The bomb squad arrives and confirms that there is no bomb inside the ‘Gada’. Shweta insults Zaara for being insensitive towards her religious feelings.

The ‘Ramleela’ committee forbids Zaara from entering the premises. Zaara reveals to Malik about the threat of a terror attack and also the name of its mastermind. Malik tells Zaara that he wants to help her. Later, Indu tells Zaara that she believes her, and wants to help. Meanwhile, Rishi decides to play Ram to keep an eye on anything suspicious, and Shweta agrees to play Sita. While Zaara wonders about the location of the bomb, the terrorists plant the bomb in a garland.

Zaara, accompanied by Indu, wonders how she will get into ‘Ramleela’. Rishi joins them and points towards Radhe, who is wearing a costume of 'Jambavan', a bear in Ramayan. Inder and Meher start to entertain the audience when they accidentally get on the stage. Later, Munna and Savita take the stage, while Malik arrives holding a remote control.

When Munna and Savita try to recreate Raavan’s wife, Mandodari’s ‘Swayamvar’, an ancient Indian tradition of choosing a groom among many suitors, Savita’s father, Kanhayialal, interrupts the show. Later, Rishi and Shweta, as Ram and Sita, take the stage, while Zaara escapes with Indu’s help. Zaara tries to stop Shweta from putting a garland on Rishi but fails. She finds a bomb in the garland and shares the garland with Rishi. Malik remotely activates the bomb, while Zaara tries to defuse it.

When Zaara fails to defuse the bomb, the bomb disposal squad takes Zaara and Rishi near a cliff. A squad officer declares that Rishi is safe to go, but he refuses to leave Zaara. Zaara notices Rishi approaching her room, and tells him to leave, while Malik wipes off the blood that had trickled onto the floor. Zaara sees Malik treating his wounded leg in the bathroom, and asks him to open the door, but Malik pours acid on his wound. A drunk Munna and Rishi kidnap Savita, while Radhe and Rudra kidnap Kanhaiya Lal. Later, the four of them meet, and leave Kanhaiya Lal on the street, while taking Savita with them. Zaara and Meher take Malik to Shweta for his dressing.

Munna, Rishi, Rudra and Radhe sneak Savita into Sharma Niwas in a bag. Later, Zaara tells Rishi that he was right about Malik being a terrorist. Zaara finds that her clothes have been cut and infers it to be Indu’s doing. Zaara stitches the dress she bought upon Rishi’s choice. The next day, Indu crosses words with Zaara, and later, Kanhayialal arrives with the police to find Savita. Zaara vouches for Rishi and the others of any wrongdoing, but Indu emerges with

Zaara asks Rishi and Munna if they kidnapped Savita, but they deny it. When Indu starts misbehaving with Rishi, Zaara slaps her. Rishi stops Shweta from slapping Zaara and blames Shweta for poisoning Indu’s mind against him. Savita admits that Rishi and Munna abducted her, and the police take them away along with Radhe. Later, Kutumbh, Meher and Inder also get arrested. Zaara finds Indu meeting a lawyer, Satyam, whom Indu asks to file a petition in court, severing her ties with Rishi.

The police van that was taking Munna and his family to the jail crashes, and the driver escapes. Rishi and Munna drive the van to the police station. Meanwhile, Satyam asks Indu about her mother’s name, to which Zaara accidentally names Indira. Indu gets enraged and breaks Satyam’s name plate on her way out. Inder creates a ruckus in the jail, when he brings explosives mistaking them for firecrackers. Later, Indu asks Shweta about Indira’s identity, to which Shweta says that Indira was a

Meanwhile, Malik and Shweta celebrate ‘Diwali’, the Hindu festival of lights, with Seher and Indu. When a rocket firecracker accidentally burns Indira’s wardrobe, Indira’s picture frame gets damaged. Rishi demands an explanation from Shweta, while Indu asks why Shweta is referring to Zaara’s picture as Indira’s.

When Rishi is about to reveal the true identity of Indira to Indu, Zaara intervenes saying that Indira was a tenant of Sharma Niwas. Later, Zaara checks Malik’s laptop for any data on his terror activities, but finds none, while Malik is seen holding a CD. The next day, Ishaan remains upset about Munna getting remarried, while Zaara asks Seher to give Savita a chance. Elsewhere, Indu learns that Indira was the owner of Sharma Niwas, while Satyam asks Indu to acquire Zaara’s

Indu recalls the time Rishi misbehaved with her, while Rishi buys a dress for Indu. Rishi shows the dress to Zaara, who appreciates it. Indu bumps into Zaara and wonders if Zaara is Indira, but eventually snaps out of it. Rudra asks Zaara to get Malik’s calls tracked. Munna requests Zaara to apply turmeric on him, as a part of the wedding ritual, to which Zaara obliges. Indu offers Zaara a glass of cold drink and smartly gets her fingerprints on it. Later, Indu takes the glass to Satyam.

Indu receives a divine sign indicating that Zaara is not her mother. Back at Sharma Niwas, Inder and Munna are elated as they encounter an omen that confirms that Zaara is Indira. Malik calls his aide to meet him and collect his CD, while Rudra informs Zaara something in secret. Afterwards, Munna mixes alcohol in soft drinks and asks Inder to distribute it amongst Kutumbh’s friends, but Inder makes Savita drink all of it. Meanwhile, Indu asks Shweta to braid her hair, but Shweta refuses.

Zaara secretly helps Rishi braid Indu’s hair. Later, Zaara meets her senior officer, who rebukes her for delaying Malik’s arrest. Meher asks Inder to play some entertaining songs, and Inder fetches Malik’s CD. Everyone gets confused when they start to hear Commander Sarfarosh’s fiery speeches on the stereo. Malik tries to get the CD but becomes alert when he sees Zaara. Later, Malik threatens Inder to hand the CD to him. Inder finds the CD and announces it to Malik in front of everyone.

Inder plays a song, to which Seher dances. Later, Savita pushes Seher and dances with Inder and other guests. Seher intentionally drops Savita, who has a fall out with Ishaan. Shweta manages the situation and arranges ‘Antakshari’, an Indian musical game, where Zaara sings and dances. Afterwards, Rishi dances with Zaara, which upsets Shweta. Meanwhile, Malik’s superior instructs him to blow up Sharma Niwas, after Malik tells him that he cannot find the CD, to which Malik

Malik starts to beat Zaara when he finds Rishi kissing Zaara’s forehead. However, Zaara beats Malik for being a traitor to his country and divorces him. Zaara fails to stop Malik from leaving, as she does not have a warrant against him. Meanwhile, Munna secretly meets Savita in a room, while Kutumbh knocks at the door. Shweta confronts Zaara when she sees Rishi holding Zaara’s hand, but Rishi defends himself. Later, Zaara tells Rishi that she fears Malik will find the CD before she does.

Zaara asks Rudra to be alert of Malik’s movements. Inder is about to reveal to Zaara where Malik’s CD is but decides against it when Malik threatens him. Zaara calls her senior to send the police to Sharma Niwas. Later, Munna arrives with the wedding procession, but the ceremony is intervened by a cleric, who compels Zaara to reveal why she is divorcing Malik, but Zaara does not give a straight answer. Meanwhile, Inder finds Malik’s CD and plays it on the stereo.

Malik points a gun at Zaara, but Rishi manages to surprise Malik. However, Malik flees, and Rishi makes a futile attempt to stop him. Later, Zaara prepares to kill Malik, but Malik argues that he alone knows Zaara’s past. Zaara remains adamant, but her senior intervenes, while Malik again escapes. Rishi confidently tells Zaara that she is Indira, while Satyam tells Indu that Zaara and Indira’s thumb impressions do not match. Elsewhere in Pakistan, Indira’s look-alike is seen in a mental asylum.

Indu learns that Indira died eight years ago. Zaara finds that Munna and the others nabbed Malik’s goons. Indu asks Shweta to swear that Indira is not her mother, so Shweta obliges. Later, Indu and Seher tie Savita and lock her up in a bathroom. The next day, a minister arrives to congratulate Munna and his family. The minister talks about a programme at India-Pakistan border and agrees to let Indu participate in it. Meanwhile, Indira’s look-alike learns that she will be released.

Shweta scolds Rishi for allowing Indu to go to Attari for the peace programme, but Rishi defends his decision. Zaara pays the water bill for Sharma Niwas, which makes Shweta jealous. Shweta asks Zaara questions about Indira’s life that disturb Zaara. Zaara asks Rishi if he can love her if it turns out that she is not Indira, to which Rishi fails to answer. Indu eavesdrops on Munna and Savita’s conversation and learns that Indira is her biological mother. Indu confronts Shweta for lying to her.

Rishi lies to Indu saying that he asked Shweta not to reveal Indira’s identity to her. Indu apologises to Shweta after Zaara coaxes her. Indu’s family wishes her luck for the journey, while Zaara gives Indu a gift. Later, Shweta and Rishi take Indu to the bus-stop, where Shweta asks Rishi why he lied to Indu. He replies that he does not want Indu to hate Shweta. Shweta hides a note inside Indu’s copy, while Indira’s look-alike is seen travelling to Wagah border.

Zaara’s senior instructs her to come to Mumbai to file her report. Zaara reads a letter from Shweta, where Shweta reveals that she is leaving Sharma Niwas and also challenges Zaara to take Indira’s place. Rishi finds the letter Shweta wrote for him, and learns that she has signed the divorce papers. Meanwhile, Indu and Indira’s look-alike reaches Attari. During her performance, Indu reads Shweta’s letter and learns that Shweta has left. Indu sings an emotional song, while Rishi proposes to Zaara.

Indira’s look-alike starts to clap at the end of Indu’s performance, but Indu fails to notice her. Meanwhile, Zaara asks Rishi for some time to think about her future, and leaves for Mumbai. Savita overhears Zaara and Rishi’s conversation and tells Munna that Zaara may be interested in acquiring Sharma Niwas. Later, Savita convinces Kutumbh that Zaara has nefarious intentions regarding the Sharma family, and Indu may especially get affected. Elsewhere, Indu finally meets Indira’s look-alike.

Indu chases the bus that Indira’s look-alike is in but fails to stop it. Kutumbh confronts Rishi for not informing her about his decision to marry Zaara. Rishi argues that Zaara will prove to be as responsible as Indira was towards her family, to which Kutumbh agrees, and decides to support Rishi’s decision. Rishi calls Indu, who asks him if Indira is really dead. Later, after several futile attempts, Indu manages to surprise her teacher, and gets on the bus that Indira’s look-alike is in.

Rishi and the others learn from Kutumbh that Indu is missing. Savita insults Rishi for prioritising Zaara over Indu. Seher crosses words with Savita, for which Savita tries to slap Seher, but Ishaan stops her. Later, Munna slaps Ishaan, but Rishi intervenes. Ishaan requests Rishi to inform Indu before marrying Zaara. Meanwhile, Indu goes to a women’s shelter in Bhatinda, where Indu hopes to find Indira’s look-alike but learns that she has been transferred to a women’s shelter in Delhi.

Indu’s teacher finds her in Bhatinda, and just then Rishi calls and asks Indu for a second chance to prove himself as a good father. Rishi convinces Munna to apologise to Ishaan and Seher, but Savita smartly distracts Munna. Indu returns to Delhi and learns from Savita that Rishi intends to marry Zaara. Rishi shows Indu video recordings of Indira and tells her that Zaara is worthy of taking Indira’s place. Indu refuses to accept Zaara as her mother and also reveals that Indira is alive.

Rishi and the others watch Zaara on the television being felicitated by the government. However, a bomb explodes at the ceremony, and Rishi decides to leave for Mumbai. Meanwhile, Indu takes Satyam to the women’s shelter and learns that Indira’s look-alike and Indira are the same people. Later, Indu takes Indira to Chandni Chowk, and Indira gets into Sharma Niwas while trying to catch a chicken. Meanwhile, Rishi reaches Mumbai and is relieved to find Zaara alive. Rishi asks Zaara to marry him.

Indira runs around Sharma Niwas trying to catch the chicken. Kutumbh and the others, thinking that a thief has entered the house, try to catch Indira, but are surprised to see her. Kutumbh declares Indira an impostor and throws her out of the house, while Indu tries to defend Indira. Kutumbh tells her family that to get their hands on Zaara’s prize money, the woman (Indira) cannot be allowed to enter the house. Meanwhile, Zaara avoids answering to Rishi’s marriage proposal.

Munna remains doubtful that the woman Kutumbh threw out of the house may be Indira. Indu secretly steals food and the chicken and brings it to Indira. Later, Indu arranges a place for Indira to sleep. The next morning, Indu calls Rishi from a telephone booth. Meanwhile, Rishi and Zaara marry at a registrar’s office. Indu makes Indira speak to Rishi, but Indira struggles to take Rishi’s name. Later, Rishi calls at Sharma Niwas, where Kutumbh stops Munna from revealing about

When Indira creates a ruckus in her neighbourhood, the neighbours demand Kutumbh to compensate for the damages, but Kutumbh refuses and calls a mental asylum to take Indira away. Indu tries to defend Indira, but Savita locks Indu in a room. Later, as Indira is forcefully taken into a van, she accidentally drops her bag. Meanwhile, Rishi returns to Delhi with Zaara and buys her a ‘saree’, an Indian attire. Indira sees Rishi on the street and runs towards him, but he fails to see her face.

Zaara goes to Radhe’s house to dress up and waits for Rishi and Indu to take her to Sharma Niwas. Meanwhile, Rishi finds Indira’s bag in which he sees Indira’s ‘saree’ and her bangles and asks Kutumbh about it. Later, Rishi speaks to Indu, who narrates to him how she found Indira and also shows him Indira’s thumb impression. Rishi reaches the mental hospital, where Indira is about to receive shock therapy. Meanwhile, Rudra comes to Zaara and compliments her upon seeing her in a ‘saree’.

Rishi finds Indira ready to undergo shock therapy. However, the doctors halt the treatment when they discover that Indira has a brain tumour. Indira sees Rishi and faints. Later, Rishi confesses to Indira that he has fallen in love with Zaara. When Indira wakes up, she shares a joyous moment with Rishi. Savita informs Indu that Rishi has married Zaara, while Rishi brings Indira to Sharma Niwas. Rishi scolds Kutumbh for refusing to recognise Indira, while Zaara watches them from afar.

Zaara lies to Kutumbh that she and Rishi did not marry. Savita questions Indira's survival, to which Inder reveals that Munna may know, as he was the last one to leave the cremation ground the day Indira died. Later, Munna reveals to Zaara that on that fateful day, Rishi fainted, and was taken to the hospital, while he went for a drink when it started to rain and did not return to collect Indira’s ashes. Zaara tells Rishi that she wants to confirm Indira’s identity.

Kutumbh is disgusted to see Indira urinate on the staircase, but Rishi cleans it up. Zaara tells everyone that she solved the mystery of Indira's survival. Zaara explains that Shweta declared Indira dead when Indira temporarily stopped breathing. Later, Indira escaped to a village from the cremation ground with burns on her arm, where she was treated along with another man who was also wounded and afterwards, they went missing. Zaara asks everyone to rejoice but she herself breaks down.

Indira drags Rishi away when he goes to console a weeping Zaara. Kutumbh comforts Zaara, and later, shares her fear of losing Zaara with Munna and Savita. Meanwhile, Zaara sees Indu and Indira sleeping in Rishi’s bedroom and gets upset. Zaara accuses Rishi of loving her only because he saw Indira in her. Zaara sees Indira toying with her ‘mangalsutra’, a nuptial chain worn by Indian women, and snatches it from her. Zaara demands that Rishi take Indira to a mental hospital. Rishi opposes the idea at first, but later gives in when Zaara gives him an ultimatum. Rishi asks Munna and Kutumbh not to disclose his decision to Indu. The next day, Kutumbh sends Indu and Seher with Rudra to dance classes, while Rishi tells Indira that he is taking her to a circus.

Rishi rebukes Indira for asking for his help to draw a bath. Munna insists on depositing Zaara’s cheque at the bank, to which Zaara agrees. Indira playfully opens the bathroom tap and ends up flooding the house. Kutumbh demands that Rishi take Indira to the mental hospital, to which Rishi obliges. Later, Kutumbh lies to Indu about Indira's whereabouts. Rishi brings Indira back when he sees the ward boy intimidate Indira. Zaara accepts Rishi's challenge of taking Indira to the hospital herself.

Munna asks Rishi to jump with him to vent out Rishi’s frustration with life. Zaara gets a call to catch a group of smugglers when Indira playfully throws Zaara’s phone out of the auto-rickshaw. Rishi feels guilty when Indu asks him Indira’s whereabouts. Zaara takes Indira to the police station, where Rudra and the others are surprised to see Indira. Indira notices Zaara keeping her ‘mangalsutra’ in her pocket. Later, Zaara takes Indira along with the rest of the force to apprehend the

A goon holds a gun to Indira to leverage his escape, but Zaara employs a clever idea and manages to save Indira. Indu learns from Savita about Zaara taking Indira to the mental hospital and confronts Rishi about

Indu forces Rishi to promise her that he will not marry Zaara, to which he agrees. Zaara gives her cheque to a doctor at the mental hospital to use it for Indira’s treatment. Indira’s childish antics make Zaara emotional, and she apologises to Indira for leaving her at the hospital. Indira returns Zaara’s ‘mangalsutra’, which further aggravates Zaara's guilt. When Zaara arrives at Sharma Niwas without Indira, Indu scolds her and faints, while Indira also faints after hitting her head on a

Rishi sarcastically insults Zaara for admitting Indira at the mental hospital. Zaara goes to a ‘Dargah’, where the cleric advises her to rectify her mistake. At the hospital, Indira’s doctor takes blood from Indira to sell it and plans to send her to an illegal research centre. Inder arrives at the hospital and is taken into a van along with Indira and other patients. After Zaara informs Rishi that she will bring Indira back, Zaara arrives at the hospital, while Indu’s condition deteriorates.

After forcing the doctor to reveal Indira's whereabouts, Zaara chases after the van which has Indira. Rishi informs Zaara about Indu’s deteriorating health and manages to get a lift to the hospital. Later, Savita calls Zaara to inform her about the police commissioner's party. Meanwhile, the van driver and his companions attempt to rape Indira, but Inder, Indira, and the other patients beat up the miscreants. Later, Zaara arrives at the spot and panics upon learning that Indira has escaped.

Zaara arrives at the hospital dressed as Indira and tries to wake Indu up. Meanwhile, Inder, Indira, and the other patients sneak into the police commissioner’s New Year party dressed as policemen and eat the cake. Munna and Savita arrive at the party, where Munna unknowingly insults the police commissioner. Elsewhere, Zaara hugs Indu when she wakes up, while Rishi, mistaking Zaara for Indira, confides in her that he will choose his responsibility over love if given a choice.

Rishi, who figures out that Zaara is posing as Indira, confronts Zaara regarding Indira’s whereabouts and slaps her. Indu, who still mistakes Zaara for Indira, makes Rishi apologise to Zaara. Rishi denies it for Indu’s sake but accepts Zaara’s argument that Indira is legally not his wife anymore as she's been gone for more than seven

Zaara is heartbroken that Rishi denied his marriage with her. Kutumbh argues that Zaara made a mistake by bringing Indira back to Sharma Niwas, but Zaara dismisses Kutumbh. The next day, Savita intentionally puts Indira’s hand in hot water, for which Rishi warns her. Indu expresses to Rishi her desire to get him married to Indira, while Rishi tries to stop Zaara from leaving. Kutumbh also tries to stop Zaara, after Savita shows her Rishi and Zaara’s marriage certificate, but Zaara leaves.

The Sharma family partakes in the welcoming ceremony of a married Rishi and Zaara. Kutumbh asks Zaara to kick a pot full of rice as a ritual before entering the house. Indira playfully kicks the pot before Zaara does, which annoys Kutumbh and Meher. When Indira steps on Zaara’s dress while dancing, Rishi asks Indu to take Indira away. Later, Rishi lets Zaara win a ritualistic post-wedding game, after which Zaara goes to Rishi’s room, but is surprised to find Indu and Indira on the bed.

Indu reminds Zaara that she agreed to Zaara's marriage with Rishi on the condition that Zaara will help her revive Indira’s memory. The next day, Indira is frantic seeing Zaara dressed up the way she used to. Later, when Indira ends up annoying Kutumbh, she chases after Indira with a knife, but Indira manages to snatch it. Zaara intervenes and sustains a cut. Later, a doctor advises Rishi to establish physical relations with Indira in order to revive Indira's

Kutumbh asks Inder to massage her legs, while Indu overhears the doctor’s advice to Rishi about establishing physical relations with Indira. Later, Kutumbh dreams of killing Indira and unknowingly assaults Inder, but Rishi snaps her out of it. Zaara and Indu try to stop the ‘Yajna’, but Savita and Meher convince Zaara otherwise. In the meantime, Indira faints while Rishi arrives and scolds everyone. He announces that everyone has to take care of Indira as she is the owner of the

Indira’s family gets shocked to learn that Rishi has transferred the property to Indira. Indira panics upon seeing Guru Ma and pushes Seher. Zaara prepares to celebrate her wedding night with Rishi, while Indu and Seher dress up Indira as well. Indu tricks Rishi into mistaking Indira for Zaara, while Zaara is devastated to see Rishi taking Indira to her room. Later, a goon dressed in black hits Rishi on the head and kidnaps Indira. When Rishi wakes up, Indu reveals to him her trick, while Inder informs Rishi about his futile attempt to catch the goon. Inder further adds to the mystery when he reveals that he saw Zaara at the scene.

Zaara vehemently defends herself and blames Indira’s family, when Inder indicates that Zaara maybe Indira’s kidnapper. Later, Kutumbh and Savita exchange words with each other, while Rishi asks Zaara if she had any involvement in Indira’s abduction. When the police search Zaara’s room for clues, Rishi finds a pair of white shoes, similar to the ones Inder saw the kidnapper wear. Rishi infers Zaara to be the kidnapper and forces her to reveal Indira’s whereabouts, but the police take Zaara away.

Indira is kept in a secret room. Later, Rishi receives a letter from the kidnapper, demanding the property papers of Sharma Niwas as ransom. Rishi realises that Zaara is innocent, while Guru Ma reveals Savita to be the real culprit. However, Savita escapes before Rishi could confront her. Later, Rishi posts Zaara’s bail, while she promises to find Indira. Meanwhile, Savita is seen intimidating Indira but shuts Indira’s mouth when she hears Rishi’s voice.

Rishi tries to convince Zaara that he can feebly hear Indira’s cries, but Zaara dismisses his claim. Later, Zaara kills Savita, who was struggling to keep Indira from screaming. Zaara reveals to Indira that she wants to kill her, and narrates how she colluded with Savita to plan Indira’s kidnapping. Zaara justifies her intention of killing Indira by stating that she cannot have a life with Rishi as long as Indira lives, while Indira is petrified to hear Zaara’s

Zaara ties Indira to a chair and hides Savita’s body inside a masonry cubicle. Meanwhile, Rishi decides to give the property papers of Sharma Niwas to Savita. Rishi also makes Inder and Munna sign a ‘No Objection Certificate’, and forcefully takes Kutumbh’s impression on it. Later, when Zaara arrives, Guru Ma, using her divine powers, reveals that Savita is dead, but Indira is alive and is in a store room. Inder decides to take Rishi and the others to an old store room at Sharma Niwas.

Inder thinks that Savita is hiding from Munna when he sees her dead body through an opening on a wall. Adhering to Zaara’s plan, Rishi reaches the spot where he is supposed to meet Savita, while Zaara, wearing a mask, also arrives in a car with Indira by her side. When Indu looks for Indira, Zaara renders Indira unconscious. Meanwhile, Kutumbh’s lawyer suggests that Sharma Niwas should be put up for auction, to which Kutumbh and Munna agree. When Kutumbh demands that Rishi leave Sharma Niwas with Indu, Zaara announces that she will take them to Mumbai. The same night, Zaara pays a truck driver to take Indira away from Delhi. The next day, Rishi, Zaara, Indu, and Meher leave for the railway station, but on their way, Indira coincidentally sees Rishi.

Kutumbh and Munna rejoice as the auctioning of Sharma Niwas is about commence. Meanwhile, Rishi misses a chance to encounter Indira, who is later forced to beg at a railway station. Coincidentally, Rishi along with Indu, Zaara, and Meher arrive at the same venue, where Indu notices Indira’s doll. After boarding a train, Rishi notices Indira and gets off, while Meher insults Zaara for failing to control Rishi. Zaara attempts to push Indira in front of an oncoming train, but Rishi saves her.

Zaara explains to an angry Rishi that she was trying to save Indira and not kill her. However, Zaara secretly warns Indira to keep mum when Rishi asks Indira about her perpetrator’s identity. Elsewhere, Guru Ma buys Sharma Niwas but refuses to pay Kutumbh the money. Everyone is shocked when Guru Ma reveals herself to be Sunaina. Rishi returns to Sharma Niwas with Indira, while Indu throws Kutumbh and Munna out of the house. Later, Rishi wonders about whose body he burnt at the cremation ground.

Munna and Kutumbh lament about being forced to live on the street. After Indira indicates that her kidnapper is a family member, Rishi makes everyone stand in line and asks her to identify the miscreant. Indu hints Zaara to be the culprit, who starts to cry to gain Rishi’s sympathy. Meanwhile, Rudra hands Rishi the original post-mortem report, and Munna realises that the dead body was of Savita’s. When Rishi asks Zaara about the fake post-mortem report, Zaara holds Rudra accountable. Rishi hints to Indira that he has realised Zaara to be the culprit and makes a futile attempt to file a police complaint against Zaara. Later, with Indira’s help, Rishi finds his way to the storeroom, where Zaara was cleaning Savita’s bloodstains. Unbeknownst to Zaara, Rishi finds a broken piece of handcuff in the room. Later, Rishi accepts Zaara’s suggestion of taking Indira to a ‘dargah’ to cure her illness.

Rishi learns about Zaara’s plan to detonate a bomb at the ‘dargah’ in order to kill Indu and Indira. Rishi pretends to get mad at Indu when she insults Zaara. However, Rishi secretly informs Indu that he knows the truth about Zaara, while Zaara buys explosives from her aide. Munna and Kutumbh catch Zaara but end up joining hands with her. Meanwhile, Indira dreams of an explosion but fails to make Indu understand it. The next day, Zaara takes Rishi, Indu, and Indira to the ‘dargah’.

Munna informs Zaara that he kept the explosives on a tray full of spiritual offerings. Zaara gladly watches Indu carrying the tray but drops it when Rishi walks by Indu’s side. Zaara gets surprised to find the bomb missing from the tray and confronts Munna. Later, Zaara puts the bomb back on the tray but gets petrified to see Rishi carrying it. Rishi confronts Zaara for plotting to kill Indira and Indu. After the bomb explodes, Zaara tries to kill Indira, while Rishi emerges unharmed.

Munna and Kutumbh reveal to Zaara that they were supporting Rishi. Zaara becomes mentally ill and is sent to a mental asylum before she serves her prison sentence. Later, Munna and Kutumbh join Sunaina in a purification ceremony to atone for their sins. Sunaina gets elated to see Ishaan, but he insults her. Munna comforts Sunaina, and later, they decorate Rishi’s bedroom for his wedding night with Indira. However, when Indira hears a particular song, she runs to the singer and hugs him.

Indira faints after learning that the person she mistook for Saheb is Imran, a Pakistani singer. Munna brings Imran home, and when he sings the song again, Indira gains consciousness. Noor threatens Sarfaraz not to speak of it to Kabir, who crosses words with Noor and vows to bring Husna back.

When Rishi asks Indira what she inscribed in Urdu, she becomes defensive. Meanwhile, Noor’s father Mukhtar comes to Kabir’s house with military personnel to arrest Kabir. Despite Kabir’s best efforts, he is arrested. Back at Sharma Niwas, Meher translates Indira’s inscription as Husna and Saheb, while Indu brings a holy cow in the house, which signals Saheb as Indira’s cure. Rishi resolves to go to Pakistan to bring Saheb to India. Radhe makes arrangements to send Rishi across the border.

Later, Mukhtar arrives and orders his men to check the bags thoroughly. Bubbly exposes herself to Mukhtar, who threatens to kill her to compel Kabir to surrender. Kabir yields, but Rishi throws a grenade to create a distraction. However, Mukhtar manages to capture Bubbly again, while Indu teases him. Back at Sharma Niwas, Indira senses Saheb coming for her.

When Mukhtar captures Indu and Bubbly, Rishi becomes anxious to save Indu, but Kabir restrains him. Rishi asks Kabir his reason for sneaking into India, but Kabir refuses to answer. Later, Rishi employs a clever trick and escapes to India with Kabir, Indu, and Bubbly. However, when Rishi threatens Kabir with a knife, he informs Rishi that he came to India to find Husna. Meanwhile, Indira slaps Kutumbh for calling her Noor and for taking the baby away from her that Inder brought.
