Luffy is separated from his crew, and he finds himself on an unfamiliar island in the middle of the Calm Belt... an island inhabited only by women where men are prohibited from entering.

Luffy finds himself alone, stranded and starving on an unfamiliar island. After a run-in with some exotic mushrooms, he is approached by a team of female warriors who could be friend... or foe.

Luffy storms the village of women in hopes of acquiring a boat. However, a misstep lands him in the personal bath of none other than the Snake Princess. As he peers through the steam rising from its waters, he sees a forbidden secret etched upon her back.

Luffy is sentenced to execution by arena combat with Boa Hancock’s serpentine sisters. Luffy soon discovers that the two women have a mysterious ability that allows them to slither through all his attacks unharmed.

Impressed by Luffy’s efforts to protect the secret of the snake sisters, Hancock reveals the story behind the familiar mark on their backs. Their childhood was tragic, suffered at the hands of a corrupt group that Luffy knows all too well.

As Luffy prepares to depart Amazon Lily, Hancock suddenly takes ill. Taking heed of the knowledge and wisdom of Elder Nyon, the Snake Princess “recovers,” and a plan to save Ace is quickly hatched.
