Following the events of the first season, the narrative splits into two major focal points: the fight over the late Haj El Bahi's extensive estate and assets, and the race to capture political leadership of the Dar El Ghezlane village.
The political arena becomes completely dominated by three central women—Karima (Haj El Bahi’s headstrong daughter), Amina (the ruthless, domineering wife of Ismail), and Dawya (the former maid tied to family secrets).
