We visit Alaska, Washington, Denmark, Germany and Netherlands, where the danger of methane emissions is clearest, and where technologies are moving ahead to reduce this looming threat to our climate.

We look at ocean iron fertilization, ocean permaculture and food webs, and how through innovation and experimentation we might be able to scale up and scale out carbon removal fast enough to help.

We look at Nature’s ‘carbon warehouse’, at the heavy climate cost of materials such as concrete, and at the people working to turn climate problems into climate solutions.

We take a sweeping journey from the small scale of the soils under our feet and the ancient and new methods to repair them, to the global scale of ecosystem restoration and regenerative farming.
