The locals turn out in force in the village square to help Monty celebrate his 40th birthday, his assistant Linzie gets her first lesson in wine tasting and Monty finds somewhere to turn his grapes into the delicious red fruity wine he's hoping for.
It’s now September in the Pyranees. The tourist season is over, but for all the local wine growers it’s the moment they’ve been waiting for all year: harvest time. For Monty, this is the culmination of a dream he’s had for ten years.
After months of hard work, his Carignon grapes have been harvested - and as winter sets in, the risky stage of wine making is underway.
