Just before his discharge from the army, Brigadier General Shiloh receives an offer that will put him in conflict with his family and himself.
Shiloh is shocked by the mental preparation given to the soldiers. Lavi goes to the Matkal's selection camp. Naama discovers that she is paying a price for Shiloh's decisions.
Gush Katif is declared a closed military zone. The Juveniles go out to demonstrate. Shiloh has to deal with a violent protest at the Kissufim checkpoint.
During the protest in Kfar-Maimon, Shiloh's personal events are mixed with national ones.
The disengagement begins. Meir is unwilling to evacuate. Avinoam suggests to Shiloh to evacuate the Etzioni household, but Shiloh refuses. Meir loses it when the soldiers break to his home, and Shiloh is forced to make the most difficult task of his life.
