In sketches, a bachelor with a throbbing headache struggles to make breakfast. A new prisoner is coerced by cellmates to attempt several ridiculous escape schemes. One plan finally works, they escape, and he gets caught by the guard.

In sketches, Jackie plays a bachelor decorating for his birthday party, and a bank clerk stealing money right in front of his boss who can't see without glasses. Pickens sings "Figeuner" and Blue Tail Fly". Douglas performs "That Lucky Old Sun" and "Begin the Beguine" with the June Taylor Dancers.
