At Røst, the story of Captain Querini lives on. They have recreated the opera when he arrived on the island 600 years ago. Now they are taking it to Venice, Querini's hometown.
Exporting opera from an island in the Arctic Ocean to Venice presents challenges, both financially and practically. But anything is possible if the will is strong enough.
Once in Venice, everyone is excited to see if people will come, how the performance will go and what the demanding Italians think of the music from the Arctic Ocean.
