A True Hotel Is Always Storied
The autonomous robot staff of the Gingarou Hotel, led by concierge Yachiyo, as they maintain the deserted hotel in a post-human Earth. After humans evacuate due to a toxic environmental contagion, the robots wait for their return, until alien guests, starting with an extraterrestrial visitor and then a family of tanuki aliens, begin to arrive. The season explores their adaptation to serving alien clients, the humorous and sometimes melancholic challenges of their duties in a world without humans, and the evolving relationships between the robot staff and their new, non-human guests.
