King Al-Dahbi kills his brother Nur al-Din and his wife in order to seize power. The servant Radwan witnesses the matter and hides Nur al-Din's children away from Al-Dahbi. The two sons, Shams al-Din and Jalal al-Din, grow stronger, but they separate.
Jalal al-Din flees to the mountains and decides to fight al-Dahbi and restore his father's rule. Hakim Omar helps Shams al-Din escape after his sister Jalila issues an order for his execution.
Al-Dahbi issues a decision appointing Shams al-Din as commander of the guards. Al-Dahbi suspects that Jalila is pregnant out of wedlock, so Shams al-Din helps her escape before she is killed. Jalal al-Din assembles an army to attack the kingdom.
Jalaluddin tries to deceive Al-Dahbi by telling him that his son Suleiman succeeded in eliminating the crocodile army for something he is planning, while Jalila continues on her way to escape.

Jalaluddin is afflicted with a serious skin disease, so he asks his followers to end his life, but Ward and her father prevent this, and Shamsuddin - the Golden King - is killed.
Rayhana gives birth and escapes. Shams al-Din takes revenge on Jalal al-Din. Jabal saves Ward from the ring of fire. Jalal al-Din's hand is cut off to cure him of his illness. Jalila is killed, and Shams al-Din takes over the Silk Kingdom.
