The harrowing details of his service began as a 9-year old, abducted from his bed by reptilian beings, who telepathically got his permission to induct him into a 20 & Back Program. His brief training on the moon included watching mind-control movies and several surgeries to augments the capabilities of his body. From there, he and a group of other boys are whisked away to Mars where they became support troops for well-armed and armored soldiers.

After being severely wounded and miraculously healed, Tony Rodrigues’s story takes him to a secret base on Ceres. After his support soldier assignment is canceled, he is given a number of aptitude tests to determine the next course of his career. Soon, he is shipped off to a German colony on the Ceres asteroid where he is trained in ship maintenance. As the years wear on, he is soon promoted to Cargo Engineer aboard ships tasked with the collection of alien technology. All the while, he learns the lengths his superiors will go to gain access to higher degrees of advanced alien technology.

As the completion of his service term nears, Tony Rodrigues is about to enter the most mysterious part of the secret space programs, the return portion of 20 & Back. He admits that what he endured is still baffling to him, as he began his journey as a 9-year old boy, served 20 years, only to return to the same age he left. Years later, as his memories came flooding back, he is working to put many of these scattered fragments together to understand fully what happened to him. Currently, he in contact with many others who are also struggling to make sense of their fragmented memories.

Perhaps one of the strangest parts of Emery Smith's work within the compartmentalized programs was his missions into caverns deep underground. Before he could undertake such operations, specialized training and briefings were essential, for him to become an integral part of the exploratory teams. He offers us an introduction into the operations, technology, flora and fauna that are all a part of his descent into the inner Earth.

Some areas of the inner earth are so strange that it is like being on another planet, within our own planet. Emery Smith describes the technology and functions he was tasked with during his missions to explore and take samples from many subterranean caverns.
