Set in 1960s Thailand, we meet Trin, an idealistic economist, and Tanwa, a free-spirited hippie. Their opposing ideals spark both attraction and conflict amidst political turmoil.

The political backdrop highlights journalists’ frustration with sensationalist media and a colonel deflecting corruption allegations. Trin and Tawan’s relationship deepens post-kiss, navigating love and ideals amid social unrest. Familial pressures and societal expectations challenge the characters.

Tanwa continues to pursue and charm Trin. A heart shaped origami brings a smile. Twirling in the rain feels romantic. Krailert does not let Naran back away from their romantic correspondence, leading to a steamy meet-up in the library.

Trin debates with and protects his students and Victor falls harder. Tanwa's shenanigans continue but Trin asks for clarity. Tanwa shares his painful past with Trin and they share magical moments and kisses on the beach.

Trin and Tanwa share tender moments after their beach trip, while Victor turns up the charm in pursuit of Tanwa. Krailert and Naran continue their passionate but time-pressed affair, as Trin publicly defends Tanwa against his father. Later, Tanwa follows Trin home, but once again fails to give him the clarity he longs for about their relationship.

Trin protects his students and Victor during a protest, where Victor confesses his feelings but is gently turned down. The unrest stirs painful memories for Trin, yet this time Tanwa is there to support him. Their reconciliation leads them to spend the night together at Trin's home, with all barriers finally broken.

Trin and Tanwa savor carefree hours at Echoes of Euphoria, their bond deepening as Trin finally lets himself relax. But when the army turns a student protest into a deadly riot, Trin's worst nightmare comes true with Victor's death, and he lashes out at Tanwa in his grief. Meanwhile, Krailert is devastated when his quiet defiance of the army leads to Veera's tragic end.
