In the opening monologue, we learn what the main character of this episode does: “I am Tom Kajzer. I’ve been a creative director for more than 15 years, the last ten at Studio Ideja. I’ve already won every award there is to win… Today’s idea will be awarded too… shame it isn’t really mine. But in life you have to get by. What is truly original anymore? We all copy everything…”
Tom shamelessly steals advertising ideas from colleagues abroad and at home, even from his wife Alenka, a successful architect, and presents them as his own. Throughout the story, various “Tom quotes,” stolen ads, and reworked fragments of famous originals are woven in. Tom’s student and colleague, young Šegula, once admired his superior, but now feels only contempt. The agency where Kajzer works faces one of its biggest challenges; Tom tirelessly seeks a solution and even finds one. But on the day of the big presentation for an extremely important client, a twist occurs.
