As the Biyela family prepares for Sihle's departure to Lesotho, Bandile hides his reservations about Sihle's marriage. In Lesotho, a new girl gang makes itself known.

As Bandile grapples with the departure of loved ones, a sinister plan unfolds, shocking everyone and setting the stage for an unexpected request.

As Tlali celebrates the capture of his hostages, Bandile arrives in Lesotho, accusing everyone of colluding against him. Mthunzi does his best to calm the hostages and connect with Buang.

The hostage situation has both worlds coming undone at the seams while Tlali relishes the power in his hands.

After their only lead to Tlali gets shot, Bandile and Leruo rush him to Sihle, who is suddenly tasked with saving two lives. Mthunzi leads the hostages to freedom, but not without hiccups.

Bandile sets out into the mountains at night to find Mthunzi. In the meantime, Mthunzi struggles to lead the hostages as Buang and Tlali's followers hunt them down.

Bandile finally hands over the number of cows Tlali requested, while Sihle decides to create a clinic in Lesotho. Buang and Mthunzi's feelings for each other are tested.

Bandile comes face to face with Tlali's army, resulting in absolute carnage. Meanwhile, Mthunzi's burning desire for Buang is finally reciprocated.

Bandile is consumed by thoughts of revenge while the two star-crossed lovers long for each other.

Tlali tightens his grip on his followers, and Bandile faces a crucial decision between family and loyalty. Mthunzi and Buang's forbidden love threatens to undo both families' carefully laid plans.

The Biyelas are at odds with each other after Bandile decides that Mthunzi must prove his loyalty through marriage. In Lesotho, Leruo is starting to feel the pressure to go back to raiding.
