John Freeman, the supposed brother of Half-Life game series protagonist Gordon Freeman is introduced. He is called to action and goes on a quest to help his brother defeat the enemies.

Henry Freeman and his mother are introduced. Living under the totalitarian rule of the Combine, they discuss their predicament. Events occur that call on Henry Freeman to act against his oppressors.

Henry and John freeman do battle against the Combine.
