After beloved frog celebrity Mr. Frog gets into hot frog water, Pim and Charlie are tasked with helping the frog get things back on frog track. Meanwhile, Glep has a crazy side adventure that has the critics going wild.
When a truly pathetic shrimp calls the Smiling Friends hotline after being dumped by his true love, Shrimpina, Pim and Charlie have very different ideas about how to handle the situation.
Charlie actually dies for real.
Bumpers, Bumps, or IDs are short clips that play between each commercial break on the Adult Swim network, used to promote shows and to provide some downtime. Smiling Friends has numerous IDs during the show, most of which play after premieres of episodes. Every bumper includes Adult Swim's [as] logo at the end.
Mr. Boss, while sneaking about, says that he's hunting Smiling Friends. Charlie is talking with Pim about a doctor's visit he had, only to be interrupted by Mr. Boss poking him with a rifle. Mr. Boss shoots him, causing his nose to spin around.
The duo run away, with Charlie saying that it's Pim Season. Pim says it's Charlie Season and the two do a back and fourth pulling flyers off a tree. The short ends with the last flyer having the [Adult Swim] logo on it as the short irises out.
Pim has surgery to shrink his large eyes to the size of most characters' eyes, only for Charlie to reveal that he had appreciated this particular imperfection since they first met.
A whimsical floating creature named Roy Dismey leaves after receiving the Smiling Friends' service, pickpocketing Pim and Charlie of their possessions in the process. This short features Roy's iconic catchphrase, "Goobla goo".
