Season 1

FU was an engineer student refuge to Hong Kong several years

ago. Through his struggle and hardworking, he has established

a small electronic factory and employed many refugees as work-

men. His girlfriend ZHON was working as a pianist in an

orchestra but was always discriminated and unreasonably fired

by the conductor HA. One day, LI, his sister and a friend fled

to Hong Kong and hid at FU's van. They forced FU to take them

to their brother's house but their arrival was very much disapproved.

In order to strengthen his own power in the orchestra, HA

deliberately fired ZHON which created the objection of other

members especially the secretary TAK. She argued with HA

and resigned from her post as a gesture to protest his

prejudice against Chinese refugees. FU has a relative SO

who was a bargirl and often came to the factory to borrow

money but usually was declined by FU. However, SO succeeded

in tempting one of FU's staffs who gave her all his savings.

LI realized that it was impossible to stay at his brother's

house thus he requested assistance from FU. FU introduced

him to work in his friend's factory but LI complained very

often that the job was too dull and demanding. TAK's father

LUI was a drug syndicate head whose dirty business was taken

care by CHOW while he looked after this electronic business

himself. CHOW intended to try whatever possible to get the

love from TAK so as to seize greater power in LUI's business

but TAK was infect secretly in love with FU.

In order to earn a better living for his sister, LI joined a

gangster group and began his robbery life. Suddenly, LI's

sister committed suicide after she was raped by WAI and -,

LI outrageously killed WAI who should be responsible for

his sister's death. FU took LI to see ZHON's father who

was a Chinese doctor. When ZHON met LI, she was greatly

amazed that LI was actually her fiancee in China.

In fact, the love of ZHON to LI had already been faded and

diverted to FU. But ZHON sympathized LI's situation so she

was determined to leave FU and keep her engagement to marry

LI. After killing WAI, LI hid away from being chased by

WAI's brother HON. Thus HON kidnapped LI's mother and wanted

to use her as a bait to trap LI. FU understood that it would

be very dangerous for LI to rescue his mother, thus he stepped

out and negotiated with HON and CHOW and suggested to solve

the problem peacefully.

FU was shot at the back during the meeting but had not been

killed as LI arrived on time with many people. Under this

situation, CHOW had to agree in releasing LI's mother. FU's

assistance was greatly appreciated by LI and agree to work at

FU's factory. In order to help FU, TAK requested her father

to place orders to FU's factory but the whole affair created

the jealousy of CHOW and he sent people to destroy FU's

factory.

After his factory was destroyed, FU didn't prepare to take any

revenge but rather try his best to earn living himself. He

worked as a hawker, salesman, etc., but was failed. TAK

sympathized on FU's situation but both his career and love

were suffered so much. Thus, she arranged FU to work for

her father in his electronic factory.

ZHON knew that LI had involved in dirty business but was failed

to stop him. On the other hand, LI thought that wealth was

the most essential thing in Hong Kong and insisted in

continuing his dirty activities. In one of the smuggling

activities, CHOW brought some diamond to Hong Kong but was

being robbed by LI. LI became rich suddenly and bought many

valuable presents to ZHON, but it didn't please her at all as

she understood that they were bought by dirty money.

FU's emptiness was gradually filled by YEE. CHOW feared that

FU would become one of his competitor in LUI's family thus

tried whatever possible to destroy their friendship. Incidentally, CHOW discovered that the diamond was robbed by LI,

and was determined to get them back from him. He used false

money to buy these diamonds from LI. LI knew that he was

being cheated by CHOW and took revenge. by irritating all of

LUI's business.

All other heads complained to LUI that the irritation of their

business was mainly caused by CHOW alone. They forced CHOW

to settle this affair peacefully. Chi the contrary, CHOW

tried his best effort to kill LI. FU and TAK gradually

found themselves falling in love with each other and prepared

to get marry. This made CHOW very disappointed. He then

changed his attention to LUI's younger sister FCNG whom he

married later.

FU suspected CHOW would kill LI, thus requested LUI to step out

and settle the affair peacefully. Infect, LUI greatly

appreciated LI's brevity and courage and employed him to

handle one of his dirty business. Yet, FU did not believe

that CHOW would cooperate with LI and warned LI not to trust

CHOW as he was really a crooked fellow.

Although disapproved by LUI, CHOW still involved himself in

drug smuggling and LI was responsible for the whole operations.

FU warned LI again that he should be very careful of CHOW and

not to be used by him but his advise was neglected. In order

to save LI's live, FU planned to report the smuggling activities to the police but on other hand informed LI to escape

before policemen came. However, LI did not understand RU's

motive but thought that he should be responsible for his

failure.

One day, FU fell prey to the trap devised by LI and CHOW and

was arrested and charged by the police. ZHON felt deeply

sorry when she knew that LI had cheated FU who saved his

live before. She secretly went to meet FU and provided

information and evidence to him so as to help him get rid

of the charges.

LUI knew the conflict amongst LI, CHOW and FU were getting

worse which resulted the death of his own daughter. He

tried to step out to interfere the whole affair but realized

that most of his people were already controlled by CHOW who

had left home with FCNG.

FU had killed the murderer of YEE and was wanted by the police.

LUI managed to hide him somewhere from being caught. CHOW

incidentally knew that LUI were transferring all his assets

to Singapore and the whole business would be taken care by FU.

CHOW was determined to kill LUI so as to inherit all his

business before it was too late. LI was responsible for

this mission but he did not know in advance whom he was going

to kill.

Fortunately, LUI escaped the murder and LI realized that the

person CHOW intended to kill was really LUI. He was totally

disappointed on CHOW and decided to leave him as soon as

possible.

CHOW was extremely angry with LI as he failed to kill LUI and

betrayed his plots. Infect, LI had joined FU arid LUI who

planned to leave for Singapore secretly. The plan was

betrayed which resulted bloodshed at the pier. LUI was

shot dead.

LI felt that he should be responsible for LUI's death and

FU's misfortune and wanted to compensate this by killing

CHOW. However, his assassination plan failed and he was

killed on the contrary.

LI's death had really frightened ZHON who suggested FU to give up his plan to revenge and start a new life in other place. FU considered the matter for some time and was finally determined to kill CHOW no matter how much it costs.

Eventually, FU succeeded in assassinating CHOW at a stadium where he was attending a sports day for charity. FU was caught by the police and charged for murder.
