Greg Gagne

November 27, 1948 — Robbinsdale, Minnesota, U.S.

Gregory Alan Gagne is a retired American professional wrestler, best known for his time in the American Wrestling Association (AWA). The son of legendary wrestler Verne Gagne, Greg began his career in the AWA in 1972 and achieved his greatest success as part of the tag team The High Flyers with Jim Brunzell. The duo won the AWA World Tag Team Championship multiple times during the 1970s and 80s, engaging in high-profile rivalries with teams like the East-West Connection and the Sheiks.

After The High Flyers split, Gagne continued his career in AWA, feuding with stars like Curt Hennig and Larry Zbyszko. Throughout his career, he made brief appearances in the WWF and other promotions. In 1989, an injury ended his in-ring career, but he remained involved in the industry as a producer, road agent, and trainer for new talent. He also made an appearance in WWE in 2006 when his father was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Following his retirement, Gagne focused on projects outside of wrestling, including managing a small investment fund and running a wrestling school in Minnesota.
