Mahiara Sáenz

Mahiara is a chilean writer and independent filmmaker. Since she was a child she has cultivated her own language guided by the sensitive, symbolic and introspective. She has trained in acting, make-up for visual media and is currently studying Audiovisual Communication at UNIACC, with a focus on directing, art and screenwriting. Her work explores the subconscious, the oneiric and emotion from a poetic and radical point of view. In 2025 she founded MER, his intimate and independent audiovisual creation label.
