Sophia Uy

Sophia Uy is a Chinese-Filipino-American filmmaker, artist, and writer based in Los Angeles. Her work frequently features stories about the joy, whimsy, and bitter-sweetness of human nature. Inspired very much by media of every kind (especially Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s “The Little Prince”…), her work often features themes of childhood, nostalgia, grief, love, and the act of documenting through the medium of film itself.
