Troy LaPlaca

Troy LaPlaca (December 1, 2001 - ) is an American filmmaker, actor, writer, and film editor from Atlanta, Georgia. Known for his slapstick comedic tone and irreverent storytelling, he is an emerging voice in the world of independent cinema. Though still early in his career, Troy has already begun carving out a unique niche with his playful yet cinematic style.

As an actor, he has appeared in several short films including Cabin Fever (2022), FANGS (2025), and Atlanta Drunk (2025), showcasing a range of comedic and character-driven performances. In 2025, he made his directorial debut with the indie feature Couch Potatoes, a film that highlights his distinct comedic voice and eye for low-budget, high-energy filmmaking.
