Hyejin Jung

JUNG Hyejin is a filmmaker based in The Hague, Netherlands. She was born in South Korea and grew up in South Korea and Thailand. After studying social sciences in Seoul, she switched to design and graduated from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague with a Bachelor's degree in Spatial Design (IAFD) in 2024. She suddenly lost her hearing in her right ear in 2023 and has been living on the border between the hearing and hard of hearing worlds ever since. This experience let her to listen to the stories of people living on the border of two different worlds, which is a core theme in her works.
