Andrea Muñoz

Her main field of work and exploration lies in experimental animation and audiovisual languages. She worked as an animator in the short film La Perra, directed by Carla Melo, which had its international premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. In 2021 she received funding to direct her first animated short film, Cuerpo de esta sombra, which premiered at Tricky Women Tricky Realities. She worked as production coordinator for Dinamita Animación. She is a member of Porosa Animación (an artistic collective dedicated to the research, screening and production of experimental animation). She is part of the teaching team for the Diploma in Experimental Animation at Xavierian University.
