
Ben Krolick is an animation supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). He has worked at major visual effects houses including Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), Moving Picture Company (MPC), Double Negative, and Pixomondo.
Krolick's early credited work includes animation on short- and long-form projects such as Barry's Song (2009) and The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010), followed by television animation on Little Charley Bear (2011). He continued to build his film résumé as an animator on effects-driven features, including Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), Total Recall (2012), John Carter (2012), World War Z (2013), The Lone Ranger (2013), Man of Steel (2013), and 300: Rise of an Empire (2014).
During the mid-2010s, Krolick contributed animation to several high-profile studio productions, including Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Maleficent (2014), Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014), The Jungle Book (2016), The Shallows (2016), Passengers (2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Paddington 2 (2017), and Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
Krolick later advanced into senior and leadership roles. He served as Lead Animator on The One and Only Ivan (2020) and Cruella (2021), and as Animation Supervisor on Seasons 1 and 2 of the Apple TV+ documentary series Prehistoric Planet (2022). His supervisory work continued on Snow White (2025).
In parallel with his animation career, Krolick has held leadership positions in visual effects departments, including serving as an animator and visual effects artist on Game of Thrones (2011), visual effects head of department on Mufasa: The Lion King (2024), and lead digital artist on Back in Action (2025). He is also the animation supervisor at ILM on Supergirl (2026).
