
Raj Chowdhury is an Architect of Financial Systems, author, producer, and CEO of HashCash Consultants and the digital asset ecosystem PayBito. For more than two decades, his work has focused on designing and advancing financial infrastructure across blockchain, digital assets, payments, and institutional finance.
Raj is recognized as a pioneer in blockchain adoption, having helped architect some of the earliest interbank blockchain implementations for trade finance and cross-border remittances between major global financial institutions. Under his leadership, HashCash and PayBito have developed technology solutions serving banks, payment processors, financial institutions, supply chain enterprises, and cryptocurrency exchanges worldwide.
A respected voice on blockchain, digital assets, and the future of financial infrastructure, Raj has contributed to publications including Economic Times, Business World, Business Standard, and CNNMoney, and continues to engage with industry leaders and policymakers on the evolution of modern financial systems.
Raj is the author of The Dark Secret of the Silicon Valley and Special Housing Unit, and the writer and producer behind The Last Ledger, a motion picture currently in development.
Earlier in his career, Raj co-founded Power Enhancing Devices, focused on piezoelectric NEMS applications for environmental energy harvesting, and Locus International, a company specializing in mapping data generation for GPS navigation systems.
Raj was a research associate at MIT's Microsystems Technology Laboratories and pursued advanced studies at Tufts University, Santa Clara University, and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
