Christy Poinsettia Ma

Noon (formerly Christy Ma) is a performer, choreographer and interdisciplinary artist. She holds a double master’s degree in Comparative Dramaturgy and Performance Research from Uniarts Helsinki and Goethe University and a bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Dance from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Awarded a full scholarship from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund in 2021 and winner of the female solo prize at the 2020 Seoul International Dance Competition, Noon’s work has been presented at the Wiesbaden Biennale, Yötön Nattlös Festival and George Town Festival. She has performed with the Susanna Leinonen Company, City Contemporary Dance Company and Guangdong Modern Dance Company.
